A project launched by American Diversified Enterprises, LLC, in collaboration with state-of-the-art farming operators
Our Philosophy
Fresh-to-the-Table Farms’ mission is to provide comprehensive solutions to overcome the problems that agriculture has caused through:
-
air and water pollution
-
the sterilization of the soil and its vital organisms through the indiscriminate overuse of herbicides and pesticides
-
soil erosion and depletion
-
farm consolidation into large monoculture farms
-
animal production facilities that are crowded, stressful, and polluted with wastes
-
All operations MUST:
-- enhance the environment, not just reduce the impact of an operation or its footprint.
-- Fresh-to-the-Table Farms’ operating philosophy is to leave the water, soil, air, and natural habitats better than we found them.
-
The solution must be humane:
-- Humane to both livestock and labor.
-- The solution must make
Our philosophy is:

-
If a solution is profitable, it will be accepted, embraced, and sustained.
-- Eventually, money runs out if something is a losing proposition and, no matter how large the vision or grand the gesture, it will be a failure in the long run.
-
A solution needs to have:
-- a lower cost of operation, greater return on investment, and lowered risk.
-- An agricultural business needs to operate as a professional business and not a family hobby.
-
It must be environmentally sound.
-- While it is true that one can "take" from the environment longer than one can take from a bank account, there still is a limit to how much can be taken out, and humankind is getting dangerously close to that limit.
life better for both humans and livestock.
-- This means better living conditions for the livestock, healthier feed, and cleaner air.
-- It means labor must have better tools and more agreeable working conditions with increased wages and benefits.
-
The farms must be good neighbors:
-- Being a good neighbor to Fresh-to-the-Table Farms means positively influencing a community.
-- Fresh-to-the-Table Farms
believes in creating unity and prosperity for the community while helping the community address some of its problems.
-
This includes:
-- creating more than 1,200 direct jobs along with another 1,600 support jobs in communities close to the farming operations (based on U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis RIMS II employment multipliers)
-- developing marketing opportunities for other ag producers
-- opening markets for increased sales from local suppliers and services, and
-- operating in such a way that earns the community’s respect and contributes to civic pride
-
Fresh-to-the-Table Farms also strives to set an example as an excellent environmental neighbor.
-- The water and air that passes through Fresh-to-the-Table Farms will be cleaner when it comes out than when it came in.
-
Food quality.
-- Quantity is one thing, but the quality is paramount.
-- A quality product results in larger markets and higher profits.
--It has less waste and risk from recalls. Fresh-to-the-Table Farms also tracks each product from seed and birth to table by using traceability codes which is a successful solution to some of the food industry's problems today.
