How it Works | How to Apply

This page will describe the micro-grant program, the types of micro-grants available, and how each  micro-grant opportunity works.

 

There will be a single-page application for all micro-grants, with a checkbox for the type of mirco-grant for which one is applying -- health, nutrition, housing, or employment (which will include starting a cottage business).

 

The application will be a simple, fill-in-the-blanks form with text in both English and Spanish, designed so a person with limited education can provide basic information about their circumstances, need, the help they are seeking and, as an option, the difference it will make to them.

All applications will be considered, followed by an in-person visit and interview to assess their need, what type of assistance will be of greatest help, and how that assistance can provide a pathway to an improvement and greater stability in their life.
